Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in New York. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth, developing strategic sales plans, and leading high-performing sales teams. This individual will play a critical role in expanding MOArt’s market presence and achieving our business objectives in the New York market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets and growth objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring team members achieve their sales goals.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Sales Operations: Oversee sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting to ensure accurate and timely sales data.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with overall company goals and strategies.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales success and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in marketing, advertising, or a related industry.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to building lasting client relationships.
  • Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to New York, NY.
