MOART is opening a Tokyo office to anchor its APAC premium brand operations and to support the growing pipeline of Japanese beauty, wellness, lifestyle, and food brands actively pursuing United States retail expansion. The Tokyo base extends MOART's presence into one of the most operationally disciplined consumer markets globally.
The Japan brand context. Japanese consumer brands enter the United States retail market with a distinctive combination of product innovation, packaging precision, and operational discipline that aligns well with the standards required by the largest US retailers. The advisory work required to translate Japanese product specifications into US retail placement, however, requires specialized cross-cultural and operational understanding. The Tokyo office provides that specialized capacity.
What the Tokyo team will cover. The office leads client engagements across the premium beauty and skincare segment, the wellness and functional food segment, and the broader lifestyle and home category. The team brings deep experience in the operational requirements of the largest US prestige and mass retailers and translates those requirements into the specifications that Japanese manufacturers can execute against.
The APAC coordination structure. The Tokyo office serves as the APAC operations headquarters, coordinating closely with the Singapore office for Southeast Asian client coverage and with the Shanghai and Guangzhou offices for Greater China client coverage. The integrated APAC structure positions MOART as the most operationally credible cross-border partner across the region.
